Pastor Chris Buscher is a pastor, preacher, former missionary, and author. His ministry has taken him from Teen Challenge and international missions to pastoral leadership in the local church.
Today, he serves as Lead Pastor of Mountain Valley Chapel, preaching the Word, making disciples, and helping people build lives firmly rooted in Jesus Christ.

A ministry formed far beyond the platform
Pastor Chris has served in recovery ministry, international missions, church leadership, discipleship, and pastoral ministry.
He co-founded Lay Me Down Ministry in 2011 and spent years preaching and serving in Brazil, Kenya, and Pakistan. He has also served in Teen Challenge, walking closely with men and families affected by addiction, brokenness, and the long road of rebuilding a life.
Those years shaped more than his ministry experience. They deepened his conviction that Jesus still saves, Scripture must be preached without compromise, and the local church matters.

Together with his wife, Jessica, he is helping lead the church into a new season of biblical preaching, discipleship, community outreach, leadership development, and renewed mission.
Mountain Valley Chapel is not simply another part of Pastor Chris’s ministry. It is the church and community he has been called to serve in this season.
